My ten wishlist (*_*)

Here are my 10 wishlist that I hope can be achieved one day…..

10. Make use of limited resources to the maximum (creative teachers).

– The teachers might be taught to fully use the limited resources that are available in school. In other words, teachers have to  be creative and innovative to make use the resources available to the maximum so that the shortages of ICT facilities can’t be an excuse for not using ICT in the classroom. I think this can be done by sending teachers for short courses on how to be creative and innovative in schools.

9. Expose the pupils with educational websites and educational resourses that are available on the internet.

– This is crucial as the pupils might not know how to find educational websites and resources that are helpful for their knowledge. The exposure can be used as guidance for them to enhance themselves under teachers’ supervision. However, I think they should also be reminded not to visit websites that are harmful for them. Thus, this can encourage them to use internet for educational purpose only.

8. Send teachers for many ICT trainings and get updated.

– Teachers should be sent to attend a lot of ICT training courses so enhance themselves in ICT skills. They also have to be updated with latest tools and information in ICT to improve their skills in for the benefits of the pupils. Besides, the training is important to make sure that teachers are well-equipped and skillful enough to implement ICT in the classroom.

7. Provide as many as technicians in schools to help teachers with technical problems.

– In my opinion, it is vital to provide not only one technician but many so that they can help teachers to overcome technical problems in schools. Besides, many technicians are needed especially in big school so that teachers won’t be having difficulty to find and ask for their help at any time and any moment because they are many of them.

6. ICT tools are replaced after certain period of time with  new ones to avoid frequent problems.

– The ICT tools should be replaced after certain  period of time to maintain the ‘good contidion’ of the tools besides preventing technical problems. This is also to ensure the effectiveness of the ICT tools for teaching and learning in schools.

5. Gain parents’ cooperation to fund some money/ICT equipments/courseware, etc to help the school in financial problem.

– To get fund from parents to buy ICT equipments, courseware, etc can be taken as one of the ways to reduce the school’s burden to provide such facilities. It would be very helpful especially for schools that are having financial problem. Thus, this will benefit the pupils for teaching and learning activities.

4. Set up more than 1 computer lab to give easy assess for pupils to benefit.

– It would be easier for pupils to get assess to the internet if more computer labs are available in schools. Therefore, they won’t be fighting to get the assess as they are more than one computer labs in their schools. Besides, the pupils can spend their time in the computer labs after school instead of wasting their time to play and jumping around the school compound while waiting for their parents or school buses to pick them up.

3. Send all teachers to undergo ICT awareness talks to awake the teachers to be open-minded.

– The reason why I suggest this is because of what i read in my friends’ entry where some of the teachers in their school do not encourage them to use ICT tools in teaching and learning. Thus, through awareness talks or campaign might be helpful to awake the other teachers to be open-minded and change their bad perspectives on ICT tools.

2. Fully reinforcement and support from the school administration.

– School administration has to determine and emphasize on the use of ICT tools in the classroom. Through this, the teachers can’t make another excuse for not using it as the school itself emphasize on the use to the maximum. Encouragement and support are also needed to encourage teachers to use ICT tools frequently to prepare their lessons.

1. Equip teachers with asisstants to help to prepare technology lesson plans, explore the different internet sites, and look for various aspects of educational software.

– It will be very helpful and reduce the teachers’ burden as there are many classes that they have to teach. therefore, by having assistant would be easier and time saving as the teacher is not alone to prepare the  lesson plans and find other resources to teach the pupils. I wish this can be implemented in future for the benefits of pupils and teachers.

That’s all from me….sharing is caring…whee~~
